About the Design
Back in 2011, I decided to start a series of posters featuring bands and songs that had a significant impact on me during my youth. The most popular of that series was "Space Oddity," created as a tribute to David Bowie.
What few people know is that Bowie wasn't my first attempt. The original intention was inspired by The Smiths, specifically the song "There's a Light That Never Goes Out."
While searching through my Design Archive, I found the original draft and
exclusively used my iPad along with Affinity Photo 2 for the editing process.
